The Story

A shepherd's cottage that had lost its roof by 1970 and its name entirely by 1990. Rebuilt stone by stone with a single guiding rule: nothing that would spoil the silence.

There is no television. There is a wood burner, a deep bath, a bed positioned for the view, and a woodstore that is always full.
