Cartmel is small enough to walk across in four minutes and significant enough to plan a whole weekend around. A twelfth-century priory, a racecourse in the middle of the village, and a concentration of cooking talent that is genuinely unusual outside a city.
Our Cartmel houses are made for eating, walking and doing very little else.
